Think Difference - Do The Best

Long ago, I had proposed a motto for Quadrant Consultants as "Sharing for Improvement" as a foundation to develop it's culture. I was starting to build the culture by introducing ethos "think difference - do the best". It is uncommon for a consultant to be low profile in mainstream marketing theory but I believe the power of synergy resulted by the culture will push the marketing performance thought a kind of close relation-ship between consultants and clients. Starting low profile and gradually develop image by continuing delivery creative solutions in a friend-ship environment should create loyal customers - better than the mainstream. The slogan "sharing" create a psychological impact to clients. They feel closer to us and treat us as a close friend. It is not only make doing our job more easy and fun, but also promoting synergy of minds and feels between consultants and clients to create better solutions. How? By understanding our most job is sharing, consultants realize that his/her main duty is learning and share it. While clients recognized it, they will try to get closer and more believing us. All of the habit and culture will not useful if not focused. People also don't care if they don't know the benefit. "for Improvement" directing all process to focus on relevant objectives of learning and sharing. We can not create the habit without a more clear direction. So.., I created an ethos to guide habit development: "Think Difference - Do The Best". Think Difference - Do The Best Competition raising when deliverable nearly similar. If you do that someone else will do it, so... how is your price? I hate client telling me like that, so I have to deliver something that someone never been. Our deliverable must unique! I don't care about details, so I shoot the heart. That is willingness! A consultants must thinking difference to provides unique results. Vice-verse, unique results becomes nature while we are thinking different. God creates human uniquely. No one similar. No one better and no one worst except what he/her already tried. Too bad that formal education - who create people perception - made us nearly similar by formulations. All believing books while the world change faster. Systems ruled by "input - process - output". Tofu machine can only accept keledai kedele (saw bean) and produces tofu, while we need to produce better than ever and facing abnormal. We must creative. We must innovate. I want to make human become human with it's unique to produce unique and innovation. Do you best by thinking and working hard. Do the best you can. Work for Fun The are two common motivation "nafs" and "stress". God create "nafs" to motivate creatures to do something better. Stress push people to do better. So, most people need both of them to progress. But I like to choose the third way: "Happy in doing something" or "work for fun". If you are a moslem, you have to know what is "ikhlas". "Ikhlas" is when you can accept a condition difference than your hope. In our context, "Ikhlas" is when you do the best and never care the result because God already define you destinity (taqdir). So, the philophy behind "think difference and do the best" possible to release you from stress. How ? Stress is a pressure raised from the gap of "result that you hope" and "your imagination about results that you can make". If you don't care about the result, where should stress may have his door? Belive in "taqdir" will free you from stress. Understanding "inna liLlahi wa inna iLaihi rojiun" will free you from stress. Yes of course we can not avoid all stress beacuse our "iman" is not stable, but we will release from it by focus on doing and forget the result. Thank you.
